About Formal
‘Formal’ was founded by Anno Visser in 2020. At the moment, Formal mainly focuses on doing test injections for the development of injection molding products for various customers. By 3D printing molds using Masked-Stereolithography (MSLA) technology, instead of the conventional machined metal molds, customers can save money and especially time in their step from concept to the final injection molding production. These test injections, as well as material development processes, are done on a self-developed compact injection molding machine that is specifically developed for this process.
By accurately 3D printing a mold, Formal can deliver an injection molded product many times faster and without major investment. Product requirements set by the developers for the product can be validated quickly and easily. In this way, customers can be convinced faster to start mass production of the product.
